If you’re the sort of person who likes to keep a steady routine, chances are there’s a list of tasks you find yourself creating over and over again. Daily emails, weekly team check-ins…they all fall into that I-need-a-task-but-I’d-rather-not-have-to-make-a-new-one-every-time category.
Luckily, you don’t! Using Flow’s Recurring Tasks, you can set any task to automatically repeat according to whatever schedule works best for you.
Creating Recurring Tasks in Flow
To set a task up to be recurring, simply create a new task as you normally would using Flow’s web, mac, or iPhone apps. After you’ve given your task a due date, you’ll notice a small icon to the right: click it!
Off the bat you’ll see choices for the most common recurring task settings. If you want your task to recur on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis, just click your preference and you’re good to go.
If your needs are a little more particular, click the button that says "Custom" and a new form will appear with a broad range of customizing options.
You can set your task to repeat every week, every two weeks, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday…whatever works. The just fill in the rest of your task details as you normally would and hit save (or ENTER).
And that’s it! From now on, every time you complete that task, Flow will automatically create a new one with identical settings on the next scheduled day.
Enjoy!
